Richland, WA – November 6, 2017 Prime contractor and SDVOSB Relyant Global of Maryville, TN and Primary Teaming Partner FE&C of Richland, WA have been awarded a $5M task order to repair and renovate the Atlantis Dormitory at Whiteman AFB. This project is part of a $95M MATOC IDIQ awarded in April 2017 by the Kansas City USACE District. The 509th Bomb Wing is part of Air Force Global Strike Command as well as the host wing at Whiteman Air Force Base, MO.

Whiteman AFB unaccompanied housing renovations are moving forward with a number of cosmetic and structural updates. Three out of the five facilities at Whiteman - Columbia, Atlantis and Endeavor dormitories -were set aside for renovation in different years.

"Quality of life is an on-going project of the Air Force community," said Chief Master Sgt. Brian Hornback, Eighth Air Force command chief prior to his retirement. "The renovations and new dormitories show an investment into our single Airmen and are immediately visible to all Airmen. Caring for our Airmen is one of the Air Force's priorities and the Airmen's well-being is my number one priority."

Renovations are slated to begin in December and completed by summer 2018.
