Press Release: US Department of Justice and Savage Logistics, LLC Settlement

Federal Engineers & Constructors is pleased to announce that the United States and Savage Logistics have agreed to dismiss all remaining claims asserted against FE&C in long running litigation originally filed in 2010.  FE&C, previously the US Small Business Administration’s small business of the year, and its insurers are settling claims that FE&C failed to comply with certain SBA regulations in connection with the award of subcontracts relating to the remediation of the Hanford site, by making payments totaling $2.1 million.  FE&C’s CEO, Richard French, stated: “While FE&C believes that it complied in all material respects with the applicable regulations, we are glad to put these costly and complicated legal proceedings behind us so we can focus all of our energies on providing the high-quality construction and remediation work that has been our hallmark since the company was founded in 2001.”
